Rita acts in antitrust disputes (cartels and abuse of dominant position) before the French Competition Authority, the European Commission and their controlling jurisdictions.
She advises companies in how to structure their practices and commercial agreements to comply with the competition law rules.
Rita files notifications of concentrations between undertakings to the Competition Authority and European Commission and coordinates concentration multi-filings before foreign competition authorities.
She additionally assists clients opposing planned concentrations at French and European level.
She also drafts and negotiates commercial agreements and assists companies in setting up selective, exclusive, franchise and commercial agency distribution networks.
Rita further defends her clients in disputes heard by the commercial courts.

  • Assisting clients with their antitrust disputes (cartels and abuses of dominant position) before the Competition Authority, European Commission and their French and European controlling jurisdictions.
  • Assisting in case of dawn-raids by the French Competition Authority and European Commission, subsequent litigation before the courts.
  • Advising on potential anti-competitive practices in mergers & acquisitions transactions and joint ventures .
  • Assessing the compliance of commercial practices and horizontal and vertical agreements between undertakings with French and European a competition law. Setting up antitrust compliance programmes and competition and distribution law training courses for legal and operations teams.
  • Notification of concentrations to the French Competition Authority and European Commission; coordinating concentration notifications (multi-filings) to foreign competition authorities.
  • Assisting companies opposing planned concentrations during their examination by the French Competition Authority or European Commission.
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and structuring commercial relationships.
    Setting up selective, exclusive, franchise and commercial agency distribution networks.
  • Advising in cases of breakdown or termination of commercial relationships between companies.
    Assisting companies with their commercial dispute litigation before the commercial courts and Paris Court of Appeal (expert appraisals and investigations, evidence gathering procedures, hearings on the merits, etc.).
