Our expertise covers the law governing industrial sites (licenses and authorisations, the law governing waste, air pollution, waste water and nuisance, etc.) and the law on products (products that generate waste, extended producer liability, greenwashing, regulated products, etc.).
We also advise clients in the context of corporate social responsibility (CSR).
- Assistance with the management of industrial sites (installations and facilities classified for the protection of the environment, installations covered under the law governing water, basic nuclear facilities, pipelines and modes of transport for dangerous products)
- Guidance and support with administrative procedures that contribute to the protection of the environment (public enquiries, impact studies, danger studies, risk prevention plans)
- Advice in industrial nuisance management (airborne emissions, greenhouse gas quotas, industrial effluent, waste, noise, vibrations and light pollution management)
- Assistance with site and ground pollution (clean-up operations, contractually-imposed usage restrictions, SUPs, changes of use) and transactions connected with these sites (sales, leases, environment law representations and warranties)
- Assistance with managing obligations associated with dangerous materials and substances (asbestos, chemicals, etc.)
- Guidance and support with the initial marketing of waste-generating products (reparability index, information about product specifications and environmental properties, product packaging and labelling restrictions, greenwashing risk prevention)
- Together with the Labour and Employment Law, and Financial Services, assisting with non-financial corporate reporting obligations (transition towards obligations under the NFRD and CSRD Directives)
