Marc assists French and international companies to exploit and defend their intangible assets.
His experience includes:
– negotiating outsourcing, software and hardware supply agreements, technology licensing, R&D and franchise agreements… the defence and exploitation of trade marks, software, patents, copyright, designs, databases and know-how;
– all issues associated with new technology regulations, in particular, the GDPR.
- Advising a US corporation in response to an invitation to tender and negotiating an agreement to set up a railway infrastructure modelling and management platform
- Defending a plant health care product manufacturer in a patent infringement action
- Assisting a US corporation offering an insurance policy and risk management platform with negotiating agreements with its French clients
- Advising a HealthTech company on the compliance of its medical device with the GDPR and with health legislation in 8 European jurisdictions
- Outsourced Data Protection Officer for a number of companies
- Advising a US satellite Internet access service provider on its entry into the French market
- Advising a medical device manufacturer on a dispute with an employee concerning additional remuneration payable when patent applications are filed
- Assisting a bank software supplier to negotiate a licensing agreement in Morocco
- Defending a clothing brand in an infringement action
- Assisting an acoustic engineering company to license its technology.
